The Auvergne region of Central France, a land of woods and mountains, rivers and lakes.  Our local town of Brioude is at the northern end of the Massif Central, on the plateau between the Livradois forest and the Cezallier mountains.  The scenery is beautiful and the landscape wild in this historically fascinating region.

Le Cerisier is also open for Chambre D'Hote throughout the year, check with us for availability.

We are registered with Gite de France and have been awarded three epis.

We arrange dedicated breaks of up to a week for walking, creative writing and fishing.

Our house overlooking the Allier river valley has a double bedroom and twin bedroom, both en-suite, plus a family room with its own private bathroom. At present we arrange accommodation locally for larger groups but are renovating a four bedroomed house in our hamlet ready for early 2008.
There are many pleasant strolls from the front door, an excellent restaurant in the village, large gardens and a patio to enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine. We are centrally located for easy access to all areas of the Auvergne.
